Canoeing in Couserans

Our many rivers and rapids provide enough water for whitewater activities almost all year round, especially in spring during snowmelt.
The Soueix kayak club is an ideal starting point for anyone who loves the river and wants to enjoy a fun experience on the water. You don't need to be a top athlete: basic swimming skills and no fear of water are enough.
Children from age 7 and the whole family can take part. All outings are supervised by qualified instructors.
Opening: April to October

Route

Depending on the Salat river level: between the Taule bridge and Kercabanac (7 to 15 km). The route is usually done in half a day.
If you prefer not to paddle (or to extend the day), swimming and relaxing are possible: deep pools and small pebble/sandy spots invite you to take a break. Note: the water is cold.
